Terms and Conditions

By scheduling and accepting service from Tank It Easy LLC, the customer agrees to the following terms of service:

 

 

Limited Liability – Tank It Easy LLC is not responsible for any damage to property, including but not limited to septic tanks, driveways, landscaping, irrigation systems, utility lines, or other structures due to the weight of service vehicles, the pumping process, or force majeure (e.g., acts of nature, accidents, or unforeseen circumstances).

 

Open Tank Safety – Customers understand that an open septic tank poses potential hazards. Tank It Easy LLC is not liable for any injuries or accidents that occur due to an open tank during service.

 

Existing Issues – Customers must disclose any known issues or concerns with the septic system before service begins. Failure to do so may result in further damage, for which Tank It Easy LLC cannot be held responsible.

 

Broken or Deteriorated Parts of the Septic System – If, during service, any part of the septic system (including but not limited to septic lines, tank components, or associated pipes) is found to be broken, deteriorated, or otherwise compromised to the extent that cleaning or maintenance is impracticable, Tank It Easy LLC is not responsible for these conditions. Any necessary repairs are the sole responsibility of the property owner.

 

Customer Responsibility for Damages – Tank It Easy LLC is not responsible for damage caused by pre-existing conditions, hidden defects, or insufficient maintenance of the septic system or surrounding property. Any resulting damage due to these conditions remains the sole responsibility of the customer.

 

 

Clear Access – Customers must provide a clear path to the septic tank (if its location is known) and a suitable parking space for the septic truck, which must be able to withstand heavy weight.

 

Tank Distance – The septic tank must be within 150 feet of the driveway for proper service.

 

Hose Surcharge- If access to the septic tank exceeds 99 feet from the pump truck, a $100 hose surcharge will be applied. This fee accounts for the extra labor and time required. Please note that after three standard hose lengths, the truck’s suction power decreases, which significantly slows the pumping process.

 

Standard Pumping Service – Includes the pumping of inlet and outlet tank compartments and thorough rinsing of all tank sides and base with water. While we cannot guarantee a completely spotless clean, we will make every effort to ensure the tank is properly cleaned. A customer-provided water source should be readily accessible if required for the service.

 

Non-Organic Material Surcharge – If excessive non-organic materials (e.g., flushable wipes, feminine hygiene products, or other foreign objects) are discovered during pumping, an additional $50 cleaning surcharge will apply. Wastewater treatment plants may not process non-organic materials, requiring manual removal by the technician to ensure proper disposal.

 

Cancellation Policy – Customers must provide a minimum of 12 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee. Tank It Easy LLC reserves the right to reschedule appointments due to weather, equipment issues, or other unforeseen circumstances.

 

Payment Terms – Payment is due upon completion of work. Tank It Easy LLC accepts credit cards, cash, and checks as payment methods.

 

Non-Payment – Failure to pay upon completion may result in late fees and suspension of future services. Tank It Easy LLC reserves the right to pursue legal action or engage a collection agency for unpaid balances.

 

 

 

No Warranty on Routine Maintenance – Tank It Easy LLC does not provide warranties for regular septic maintenance, including septic tank pumping or line unclogging/cleaning.

 

Riser Installation Warranty – Riser installations come with a one (1) year warranty and will be securely attached to the access port(s) of the tank. However, Tank It Easy LLC is not liable for any damage to the risers caused by homeowners, weather, or force majeure events.

 

 

Industry Standards – Tank It Easy LLC follows the NAWT (National Association of Wastewater Technicians) and CPOW (Colorado Professionals in Onsite Wastewater) guidelines for proper septic system maintenance and service procedures.

 

Photo Release- By allowing service on your property, you grant permission for any septic or grease-related photos taken during the appointment to be used for marketing and other business purposes. If you’d prefer to opt out, just let us know before or during the appointment.

 

Customer Agreement – By scheduling and accepting service, customers acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service, including liability limitations, scheduling policies, payment terms, and service limitations.

 

 

Good Faith Resolution – Any disputes arising from these Terms of Service will first be addressed through good faith negotiation.

 

Mediation Requirement – If a resolution cannot be reached, the parties agree to submit the dispute to mediation in the county where Tank It Easy LLC operates. Legal action may only be pursued if mediation does not resolve the dispute.
